BlackBerry Storm: Delete Call Log History
Don’t want your significant other to know you talked to your ex-lover at 3:00 am last night? Clear the call log history from your BlackBerry Storm.
1. Open the Messages application.
2. Press the Menu button.
3. Tap View Folder.
4. Tap Phone Call Logs.
5. Press the Menu button.
6. Tap Delete Prior.
Your call log will be gone.
My BlackBerry Storm was missing the Sent Items folder in Messages. There is a way to enable it though. Here’s how:
1. From the main
screen, press Menu .2. Open Options.
3. Tap General Options.
4. Set Hide Sent Messages setting to Yes.
5. Press Menu > Save.
BlackBerry Storm: Separate Email and SMS Text Messages Applications
What a cool tip this is! I hated that the
BlackBerry Storm shared the same application for SMS text messages and email messages. I found a setting where you can set them to be different applications.
1. From the main
screen, press Menu.
2. Open the Messages application.
3.
Select Menu > Options.
4. Set SMS and Email Inboxes to Separate.
5. Press Menu > Save.
You can enable or disable the feature where the
BlackBerry Storm automatically spell checks your email messages right after you
select Send.
1. Press Menu and
select Options.
2. Tap Spell Check.
3. Check the Spell Check Email Before Sending option.
4. Press Menu.
5. Tap Save.
